I was hugely fortunate enough to know Kees Maxey. He was my election agent when I contested the Brentwood and Ongar parliamentary seat at the 1997 General election. Kees was always honest and kept my feet on the ground during that campaign. He was so highly organized and was the perfect person to have any charge of what was always going to be an uphill battle. What most struck me about Kees was his integrity and strong beliefs. He did some amazing work especially around the plight of Refugees in Africa and touched the lifes of many people. He also had a strong Christian faith and I am sure he is now with the Lord.
